Why this unit
The ML-15 (Type VI) is a compact wax burnout furnace for the dental casting workflow. It burns wax out of invested molds and preheats them to casting temperature in a 120 mm cubic muffle chamber rated to 1100 °C.
The chamber uses high-alumina insulation wool and high-temperature resistance wire for fast heat-up and long element life. A digital temperature controller on the front shows actual (PV) and set (SV) values, and the setpoint is entered with the SET and arrow keys anywhere from 0 to 1100 °C.
The unit is built for 110 V or 220 V supplies, drawing 18 A or 9 A respectively at its 2000 W rating, and its small footprint and low weight make it easy to place and move on a laboratory bench.
