Why this unit
The PHOENIX-7 is a benchtop porcelain furnace for firing, staining and glazing dental ceramic work, including ceramic blocks and porcelain restorations. Workpieces sit on a round firing platform under a bell-shaped chamber that lowers over the work for each firing cycle.
Programs are run from a color touchscreen on the base. The chamber heats at up to 200 °C per minute to a maximum of 1200 °C (1100 °C on the C300 version), and can hold top temperature for up to 2 hours 46 minutes. Vacuum firing is supported through an external vacuum pump, with the vacuum level adjustable from 1 to 101 percent.
The furnace runs on either 100–120 V or 230 V mains at 50/60 Hz and draws a maximum of 1500 W excluding the vacuum pump, so it fits a standard dental laboratory bench.
