Why this unit

This electronic wax carving heater replaces the Bunsen, alcohol or gas burner at the waxing-up bench. The metal carver is inserted into the front aperture, where an induction coil heats it quickly; removing the tool stops the heating, so there is no flame, no hot exposed element and noticeably less heat on the bench.

An electronic sensor keeps standby draw down to 1-2 W and only delivers power during insertion. For safety, an error state is triggered and the circuit is protected if a carver is left in the aperture for too long. A replaceable cap keeps the aperture clean in daily use, and the sloped ergonomic housing suits repeated pick-up and set-down of instruments during wax-up.

The unit accepts all metal carving tools from 0.5 g to 25 g and senses tools as light as 0.5 g. It is intended for dental laboratory waxing work such as crown and denture wax-up, in environments up to 50 °C and 95% relative humidity without strong electromagnetic fields or vibration.
