Why this unit
This is a compact benchtop vibrator with a round platform, used in dental laboratories to shake air bubbles out of gypsum plaster and investment material while impressions and molds are being poured. The mold sits on the round top plate and is held with both hands until the pour is complete.
A single front dial marked LOW, OFF and HIGH controls the vibration intensity; per the product graphics the plate is a detachable 4 inch (10 cm) round platform and the speed adjustment is stepless between the marked positions.
Its small footprint and light body make it a bench-side unit for everyday model pouring in crown and bridge, denture and orthodontic work.
