Why this unit
The LZSC-I is a benchtop arch trimmer developed for a specific step in model work: grinding the inner, lingual side of gypsum models when separating and finishing them. It uses dedicated carbide burrs, which the documentation credits with noticeably higher efficiency and longer service life than ordinary abrasive points.
The burr spins at 2800 rpm under a clear splash guard on the red top plate; a side port allows debris extraction, and the machine sits on rubber feet with a single rocker switch to start the burr. The unit runs from a DC drive stage rated at 20V / 10A output.
Upkeep is simple: after each use, clean plaster debris out of the chamber and especially around the motor shaft so rotation resistance stays low.
