Why this unit

The JT-69 is a dust collection cover that turns a section of the technician bench into an enclosed, vacuum-extracted workspace for polishing and grinding. Fine dust produced during work is drawn off by the built-in vacuum, while coarser particles fall into a removable waste box at the bottom that can be pulled out and emptied at any time.

Inside the hood, three LED light strips at the front, left, and right provide shadowless illumination of the work area, and the near-silent fan keeps noise below 50 dB. Extendable elbow supports on both sides reach into the working area for an ergonomic arm position, and a silicon soft-rubber hanging curtain at the opening keeps dust from escaping while hands move in and out.

Setup is simple: attach the left and right elbow supports with the included screws, plug in, and turn on the main switch to operate both the lighting and the vacuum. The manufacturer recommends cleaning the dust bag every two shifts and replacing it about every two weeks, and replacing motor carbon brushes when worn. The series also includes the JT-69B variant, which connects to a central vacuum through a rear 50mm PVC port instead of using the built-in extractor.
