Why this unit

This stainless steel sedimentation tank sits between the model-room sink and the drain line. Wastewater carrying gypsum, plaster and wax residue enters through the lid, and solids settle out as the water passes through three internal filter channels, so the drain receives clarified water instead of slurry that would block the pipework.

The first channel cover is pre-drilled with three inlet positions; the drain hose from the sink is pushed through whichever hole is most convenient, or two to three hoses can be connected at once. The second channel cover offers two further positions, which can be used for a cleaner inlet line or left unused so water simply cascades through the three channels. A bottom drain outlet with a flexible hose carries the filtered water away, and carry handles on the body make the tank easy to pull out.

The tank is sized 60 x 45 x 32 cm for placement under a workstation or beside the plaster bench. Regular cleaning on a usage-based schedule is recommended, with normal safety care during handling.
